Are you dreaming of Hawaii? Here’s an idea—why not let Hawaii come to you?
Art in the time of Covid...
Aloha everyone...
Here is a photo of my five year old self in Kindergarten. I painted a mural of my dad skiing Heavenly Valley in Tahoe.
I have always loved painting, ever since I can remember.
During these uneasy times, I want to thank my collectors and supporters.
Sending best wishes to all.
Please stay safe and think about all of the little things that add joy to your life. -Kim

I had the most wonderful teacher from Bijou Elementary School named Mrs.Young. She would allow me to spend hours a day painting, and encouraged me to be an artist. She gave me extra time in class to make clay sculptures and murals while other kids studied different subjects. She changed my life and I am forever grateful!
"Heavenly Haven" Koala Surfboard Benefit
I believe we are each put on this earth to use our skills to enhance things that are important to us, help one another and our planet. As an artist, I have a gift of communicating and making people feel good through my whimsical world of images. This is my contribution to help when there is a need for change, and encourage support.
The wildfires in Australia have touched my heart deeply. The loss of native landscape, homes, the loss of the Koalas and other wildlife. I wanted to take action and create something special. Something that will tell their story and that will allow others to participate in helping the Koalas as well. If each of us take action when something touches us, the world would be a much better place. We can all make that change a reality.
I will be donating 50% of the proceeds to the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital. They’ve helped thousands of animals on their road to recovery. You can also adopt a Koala! Learn more at www.koalahospital.org.au/

What a once-in-a- lifetime experience it has been to collaborate on artwork with my all-time favorite movie star Owen Wilson, for an ocean charity I am passionate about!
I have had the pleasure of being friends with Owen for many years, as he spends most of his off-time from making movies on Maui, regenerating his spirit through surfing.
Suitably motivated by the success of my collaboration with Kai Lenny creating an art piece to raise money for Surfrider Foundation, I joined forces with Owen, who is also a dedicated surfer. The concept was to create a board that is uniquely Owen, combining his footprints and autograph with my design aesthetic, and bringing them to life on a gorgeous cherry red gun surfboard.
The red color represents the passion that Owen has for the ocean. The waves represent the wild sea that rejuvenates Owen’s spirit. And the stylized monkey? Owen's spirit animal is the monkey. He was born on the Year of the Monkey and thought it was perfect power animal to represent him on the surfboard, along with his footprints. Monkeys are also associated with surfers throughout the world; I imagine because of surfers' agility, unpredictability and athletic prowess on the waves, which remind viewers of the extraordinary abilities of monkeys.
Owen is delighted, as am I, to contribute 100% of the proceeds to Surfrider Foundation, to aid in the protection and enjoyment of the world’s ocean, waves and beaches through a powerful activist network.
Join our team! Can you think of a better way to be part of the solution?

“I always get excited when I get to the ocean. Surfing, diving, swimming… It doesn’t matter, I just love being in the water. There are so many challenges facing the ocean today and we need to take a stand. Supporting Surfrider Foundation and the work they do is a great way to help and protect the ocean for our kids and future generations.” - OWEN WILSON

100% of proceeds go to the Paia Youth & Cultural Center
It all started with a vision Kim had to give back to the community. Along side Kai Lenny and the Paia Youth and Cultural Center, she has started an exciting journey...
"What an amazing experience this has been to collaborate on artwork with one of my all-time favorite superstar athletes, Kai Lenny. I have known Kai since he was a young boy and I have watched him grow up to become a World Champion. He is truly an inspiration.
Suitably motivated, I joined forces with Kai. I was inspired to develop a unique concept with my surfboard art, bringing the elements of his footprints and autograph, along with my design aesthetic, to life on a gorgeous aqua blue Gun Surfboard. The blue color represents the ocean, the green and white represent the movement in the waves of the sea. The Mālolo or “Flying Fish” is something that connects Kai to the Hawaiian waters of Maui. He often sees them “flying” out of the water during his ocean adventures.
It has always been a dream of mine to give back, get involved and do something impactful with my art. This is my something.
I am incredibly grateful to be able to work with Kai and Martin (Kai's dad). It's also been a wonderful, enlightening experience to share with the PYCC facilitators. What a heartfelt, meaningful organization. So far it has been a transcendent experience. The ingredients of Kai Lenny, PYCC, and my art are combining to create something magical; much greater than the sum of the parts!
Please enjoy and participate in this adventure! Buy great art, and raise money for PYCC’s mission of, “building community through our youth.”
Can you think of a better way to be part of the solution?
The Pā`ia Youth & Cultural Center is a unique organization that builds community through our youth. This is our mission. Kai Lenny is one of the world’s most complete watermen.
He grew up on the big waves of Maui, and with supportive parents and world-class mentors, has had a meteoric rise. He is now at the apex of the surfing world: His accomplishments are astonishing: he's won the gruelling 50km Molokai-to-Oahu Paddleboard World Champion race three times (once in the unlimited, once in the stock stand-up division) and he shattered the across the channel record on his foil board. He was on the Professional Windsurfing Association World Wave Tour, has been runner-up at the Kite Surf Pro World Championships, and he’s won the SUP world title eight times and counting. Last year he was runner up in the Big Wave World Tour. Yet through it all, he remains modest and humble. “My favorite thing in the world is riding a wave, so as long as I’m riding a wave, I’m happy.”

Hawaii's revered shark god, Kamohoali'li, was not one to be trifled with, and neither is this board. The elemental blues and greens emphasize the sleek beauty and power of the island's protector of the seas.
"Mana Shark"
"Mana" - In Hawaiian symbolizes a pervasive supernatural or magical power. Sharks are thought to be the Aumakua of the Hawaiian culture. A family god, often an ancestor who has died and come back in another form.

A Hawaiian Tradition That Lives Today
A Hawaiian lei can be constructed of leaves, flowers, seashells, feathers, seeds, nuts, and even bone and teeth from various animals. It is a custom that still lives on in Hawai'i today. Below is a Plumeria Lei. These flowers are some of the most fragrant, and come in a wide variety of colors. They don't last long once picked from a tree, so the time spent with them are special.
A Custom of "Aloha"
A Lei can be worn at anytime for any occasion. They are a nice gesture for arriving guests, life celebrations, special occasions and holidays. There are few "rules" when it comes to wearing or giving a Lei.
