A Peek Inside My New Sanctuary

Aloha my friends and collectors,

I wanted to share a little update on what I’ve been up to lately… I’ve been deep in the process of renovating my new home, and I have to say—I’m really happy I said yes to it. It’s been a bit of an obsession (you probably won’t be surprised by that).

It’s not finished yet, but I didn’t want to wait to share a few of the small things that are already bringing me so much joy…

The Papier-mâché birds flying around In my volted ceiling—they remind me to stay light.

The orchids in my kitchen window, with the yard just beyond… it’s such a simple, beautiful moment every day.

One of my treasured paintings from my collection. I did an art trade with AJ McBride in Hanalei 30 years ago for this piece and I just rediscovered it. It’s so meaningful to me.

And finding the perfect mirrors for my vanity… you know how much I love the hunt!

My Moroccan pink runner—it just makes me happy every time I walk by! feat. Jessie James (above)

And my original oil painting of “Leilani” (prints available online), watching peacefully over my living room with my beloved peacock. (below)

There’s so much more coming, and I’ll share along the way… but what I didn’t expect and what might be the best part of all; the feeling of this neighborhood.

When I walk Jessie, there are ocean views from almost every street. And the people… truly special. Neighbors checking in after the big rain, stopping by to say hello—it’s that real feeling of Aloha.

I can feel it already… this is a beautiful place to land.

More soon,

Kim
