Experience The Magic Of Hawaiian Nights: Illuminate Your Space With My Moon Paintings!

Mahina Nightwatch | Prints Available

One of my all-time favorite subjects to paint is the tropical moon rising over the Hawaiian islands, surrounded by the sacred ocean waters.

When I first got to Hawaii, the thing that impressed me the most is the atmospheric quality in the night sky — how everything is dancing and moving and there’s a soft glow emanating from the stars and the moon. I tried to capture this in all my moon pieces by using some of the finest paints and pigments in the world (Sennelier Artists' Oil Paints) along with a special layering technique I have created using rich saturated pigmented paints and thick brushstrokes to illuminate the sky. If you would like to add to your collection with one of my moon paintings, please have a look below. More original moon oil paintings will be coming this summer.
