Meeting up with Avi Kiriaty at the beach…

So happy to be back on Maui! It’s always nice to go on vacation (and go skiing! and shopping!) but Maui is always great to come home to. While taking a walk on the beach right behind my house, and ran into my friend and fellow artist, Avi Kiriaty.

We had a lot to discuss as we are both currently selling our art primarily out of our own home studios. These sure are interesting times to be a professional artist!

It was great catching up with Avi. We are both blessed to live on Maui and be surrounded by such inspiration and beauty.

New Custom Kim McDonald Rugs available through High Country Rugs

Now, in addition to having my artwork on your walls, you can have it on your floor!
High Country Rugs will now create a totally custom rug, based on one of my Warrior Board designs. With their easy to use website, you can pick your favorite design (six currently available, with six more to come in the future), customize your own colors, size, knot-count, and even fringe color. I just ordered mine for my home studio on Maui. I can’t wait to get them this summer. Stay tuned for an invitation to the open house to check them out in person!
